FIKA & Wine opened its doors in the summer of 2019 on Österlånggatan. In our cozy premises - just a stone's throw from the royal palace - follows a long tradition of food service in Magnus Ladulås old premises.
Our contemporary concept is constantly evolving where we focus on high quality in everything we serve and having a service beyond the ordinary. We serve traditional home cooked food & all the traditional fika AND of course - wine!
A lot of Swedish wine in fact!
We also have about 10 different Swedish beers in the range or maybe a nubbe/ snaps to go with the herring?
With us it feels a bit like sitting at a friend's house or
maybe at grandma & grandpa's kitchen table.

Christmas beneath the stone vault
Beneath arches where time seems to stand still, we invite you to a Christmas filled with flavour, stories, and warmth.
In our intimate rooms, just a stone’s throw from the Royal Palace, the scent of pine, spices, and caramel fills the air.
Here, Christmas is celebrated the traditional way — in three courses, where craftsmanship and heritage meet the present day, beneath stone walls that have carried conversations, laughter, and music for centuries.
Christmas menu in three courses – the season beneath our beautiful vault
On Österlånggatan in the Old Town, where the cobblestones meet the breath of history, it now smells of Christmas. Under the old arches, in the same room where the Magnus Ladulås restaurant once took shape, we set out our Christmas plate in three servings – a tribute to tradition, craftsmanship and community. Here, among candles, fir branches and clinking glasses, classic flavors are given new life: herring and salmon, our famous meatballs with side dishes, and sweet endings from our coffee stand. Everything prepared with the same care as before, but with our own curiosity and warmth.
Price: 650 SEK per person**
Table reservations are recommended.
We welcome parties of two to a hundred people and are happy to put together a drink package that goes with the food. The mulled wine can be enjoyed on the outdoor veranda before you take a seat in our beautiful 15th-century vault.
Chambre séparée
Here at Fika and Wine, we offer you and your friends, colleagues or guests our innermost and most secluded room to rent as chambre séparée.
In the room, which you of course have to yourself, you and your party can meet to celebrate, hang out, eat, drink AND enjoy.
We offer a selection of cold and hot dishes to serve, as well as everything from champagne to fruit nectars to drink along.
The room can be booked Monday to Friday from 11 am to 10 pm. For seated parties, there can be up to a maximum of 16-18 people and for a mingling party a maximum of 20 people.
